I am not 100% sure,  but I was under the impression that all authentic shafts from Titleist had the sticker/decal.  I have purchased extra just shafts from Titleist and they have the sticker on the shaft.

All new 910's leave here with a sticker on the shaft.  That is not to say that human error cannot occur and a shaft was missed.  Secondly, the account where you purchased it may have removed the shaft when they were cleaning the club for sale.  You may want to check with them.  If they say that they did not remove the sticker, the account can set up an inspection with our Warranty department if you would like it inspected.

I have purchased couple of the clubs and shafts only.  It seems like the shaft only does not have the sticker and one of them due to warranty issue has already been verified that it is genuine shaft.  The place I purchased from is also authorized titleist dealer.  I have them drop shipped so coming out from titelist facility with shaft only has no stickers as far as I can tell.

I made a mistake.  I had the shafts mixed up.  The shaft only RIP I purchased from Titleist does not have a sticker.  Albert is correct.

Here is a little more clarification from our brand protection page on which products will feature the security label:

The security label will be located on all Titleist clubs, starting with the launch of the 910 metalwoods in the Fall of 2010. Following the launch of the 910 product, all new Vokey^® wedges, Scotty Cameron^® putters, and Titleist^® irons will feature the label. The security label will not be applied to SureFit™ fitting clubs, replacement shafts or limited edition Scotty Cameron^® Circle T™ putters.
