910 D3 - "less spinning" means less slice spin vs. 910 D2?

I currently play with the 910 D2 and am thinking of going with the D3 instead? question that I have is that the D3 is marketed as less spin than the D2. What does that mean exactly? Less backspin meaning more roll out to be expected if the loft is identical between the D2 and D3? Or less spin as in less side spin like slice spin? thanks. With the D2, I tend to get hardly any roll out (9.5 loft) it hits the fairway, and pretty much rolls a few yards. I'm wondering if the D3 with equal loft will get more roll due to less spin (assuming it's less backspin)?

I don't see where the marketing says less spin, I do see lower launch.

Which means you need to swing more up on the ball to get the same height and distance, unless you hit the D2 too high.

Yes, if you see marketing saying less spin, it means less backspin(unless it is being marketed for slicers)

If you were to get a less spin driver, that means you curvy balls will curve more.

I thought the D3 was more "workable" than the D2.  To me, this equates to being not as forgiving - which could mean exaggerated hooks and slices.  Looking forward to hearing the comparisons and characteristics between the D2 and D3.

  4. I play both the D2 and D3 - mostly in A2. D3 is def more workable and 10 yards longer for me. The D2 is more forgiving and I did hit more fairways with it vs the D3.

Having said that, 2 weeks ago I changed shafts from the stock D Ahina 72 Stiff  that I was fitted with to Graphite Design Tour AD DI 7x. - The shaft is deadly accurate in the D3 and long! Night and day difference for me. But for some strange reason I now hit the ball +15 yards longer with the D3 vs the D2. But the crazy thing is my D3 is just as accurate as my D2 now.. Go figure.. I'm glad I found a shaft that likes my swing and driver head. So to compare I would say the D2 is more forgiving, less spin (less right to left for me) vs D3. But if you have the right shaft for your swing that comparison could be skewed.

    Cheers!
