    Hey Everyone,

I recently took my driver to Golfsmith to get a new shaft installed. Originally I had the Diamana Kai'li shaft but I had trouble with a high ball flight. I had Golfsmith install the UST Proforce V2 shaft. I love the shaft, but went to adjust the settings yesterday before I teed off and it looks like the guy glued the top portion of the sure fit adapter that is supposed to rotate to change the loft/lie to the actual shaft. Anyone know how I can fix this or where I can get a new adapter?

    Thanks for the help.

  2. Wow...thats not good. I'd take it back to them and have them fix it. .

If you are going to try to do it yourself, I would apply just a bit of heat to the part that is supposed to rotate. That will soften the epoxy, but you risk also softening the epoxy that is holding the adapter to the shaft. I'd try to keep the adapter/shaft area very cool while applying heat to the rotating collar. Do it carefully, and good luck. You can not get an original titleist adapter anywhere, and I would be very skeptical of getting one on ebay - most likely counterfeits that dont work nearly as well.

If you have the receipt to prove they installed the shaft, it would be obvious from the club desigh that they did it improperly. It's their responsibility to make it right.
