710 AP2 New Customer

    I'm new to the Titleist family.  I just recently bought a new set of 710's AP2, but haven't had the opportunity to use them.  I bought these from an authorized retailer who is closing down his store.  I noticed that 3 and 4 Iron doesn't have a serial number, and my 5 and 6 Iron have the same serial number and my 7-PW Irons have another serial number.

    How concerned should I be and is there a way to determine if the set-up is the same for both serial numbers?

    Ken,

    Not too alarming, as the set could have been pieced together as a custom set and stock set.  Stock sets will have a 7 digit serial # on the 6 iron only, so if a golf shop sells any of those individual irons, then they need to re-order individual irons to fill the set.  That would be considered a custom order and would mean there would be a 5 digit serial # on the individual irons.
