Project X iron shafts

    I was just wondering if anyone knew how much of an up-charge it is for Project X steel iron shafts???

    Just ordered a 2-iron the other day.  It was the Titleist CB with a Project X 6.0.

     

    Cost me an extra $15.

    I think Titleist charges $15.00 per shaft. You can buy Project shafts at Golfsmith, or on E-bay and have your local golf shop install them. Just make sure that whoever installs them can spine/align them for you. Hope this helps. It would be best to order a set of Clubs with them already installed from Titleist though.

    The $15 upcharge is about right. Just have Titleist do the work. It will preserve the clubs' warranty. There is no need to ask for spine alignment. Titleist has tested all these shafts and found no difference in performance regardless of installation orientation.

    Which Project X shaft is comparable to the True Temper Dynamic Gold S300 shaft?  

    I am considering upgrading at the end of the season for the cosmetic appearance of the step-lass shaft, but I do not want to compromise the performance.  I love the high ball flight and soft landing generated by the TT DG shafts.
