I have the 712 MB's, I know they are tapered tips, is there a safe way to make parallel tip shafts fit? If not, what is the cost to reshaft 9 irons and 3 wedges and keep my old shafts?

Danny,
I would not recommend trying to convert the parallel shaft to taper. What shafts are you looking to re-shaft your irons with?

Hey Danny,
What do you mean you cannot find them uncut? Do you mean you're looking for them all at one raw length? If so PX shafts are flighted by nature and change from iron to iron. Buying say a 9 iron shaft would give the right flight characteristics but you would have to trim it yourself (or a shop person would have to) to make it a useful length even though the raw length is shorter for shorter irons. PX Irons are available at Golfsmith for $36.99 a piece in the US. You should call your local golf shop and find out their labor fees.

You cannot tip a tapered shaft first of all, but you should be able to get the PX flighted to your specifications. When you tip tapered shafts the diameter gets larger and it will be a squeeze or impossible to get the shaft fitted into the club.
