I use four wedges. My PW and GW are AP1's with the GW at 50o. My other two are Cleveland 56o  and 60o. I want to replace the 56 & 60 with Vokey wedges. The gap between my GW and the 56 have been causing some distance issues. I wanted to get some thoughts about switching the 56 to a 54. I've started using my 60 from about 65 yards in so I need a more versital bounce. My 60 is my "go to" club out of all greenside bunkers so I dont want to loose that by going to a lower bounce. I play on all types of turf (from hardpan to very wet conditions). Any ideas about wedge loft and bounce ?

    Marvin,

Going to a 54* isn't a bad idea if you are having those gap issues between your current GW and 56*.  This will help close the yardage gap between the two.  As for the bounce, for both the 54* and 60*, you want to analyze what swing style you are, digger or sweeper.  If you tend to take larger divots on full and 3/4 shots, then consider more bounce for your 54* and 60*.  If you are more of a sweeper or picker, then consider less bounce in both wedges.  If this is the case, then also consider low-mid bounce for your 60*, since you mentioned you use this primarily out of the bunker.  The more bounce will help to get through the turf and softer conditions.  These are just a couple things to consider, and please feel free to contact us at 1-888-TITLEIST if you have any other questions.

I have an SM4 54-11 and 60-10 both bent 1* strong.  I use both in a wide variety of lies.
