  1. I asked my golf shop owner to check into pre-ordering a 915d2 with the Aldila Rogue Tour Silver shaft.  Titleist informed that it could be made easily with no upcharge and that the Rogue was one of the available stock shafts. Is this the same shaft that is currently being used on tour?

I heard through a local fitter that they are being played on the tour, who has tried the shaft and loves it.....the tour rep came by their store and they got to demo the clubs and diffferent shafts........

Not the exact same shaft. The one being used on tour has a 125 MSI which costs more to make vs the rogue which will be offered as a stock offering is 110 or less. MSI = Million pounds per square inch or I've also heard means material stiffness integration.

David I am lucky to be a tech rep for Titleist in the boston area. I have recently begun fitting a lot of the Titleist PGA Staff Professionals, and the feedback from thr Rogue shaft has been extremely positive! I did 4 fittings yesterday and 3 out of 4 fit into a version of the Rogue. Just keep in mind there are a few different models offered with varying weight, torque, and kick points, so be sure you order the correct model.
