I have been a long time Titleist customer. I planned to purchase a 915 D3 to replace my 913. I was shocked to find that the Tour AD DI 6S was so expensive an up charge. I was quoted $360.

$800+ for a driver.....OUCH! Cost escalation drives hard decisions...do I go with the expensive custom shaft or is one of the standard shafts good enough? Tough decision that we all have to deal with as prices continue to escalate.

You really get what you pay for with this shaft. I absolutely love mine and plan on putting it in the 915 D3 head next month.
The feel of this shaft is unmatched for my swing. Would definately get fitted to make sure it is the right shaft for you before purchasing.
If all else fails, ask Bubba K. He knows his stuff when it comes to clubs.

Wait till you see the price of the rogue silver 125! at least that amount or more!
However, I have had great success with the new stock shafts such as rogue silver 110 and Pro Force V2...very inexpensive to no cost...

Hello Chris92009; I've been interested in the Rogue shaft (probably the Black 60) but I'm wondering if it would be a good shaft for a slower swing speed like mine which is about 80-85 mph. With your experience with the Rogue, I was hoping to get your thoughts on this, and if any other TT members had any thoughts also. Thanks in advance.

Got the retail store as per Cathi's suggestion(nationwide golf retailer) to lower price to $225. Still pricy, but with trade in of my 913 D3 was affordable. I look forward to playing the new head and shaft. I believe the shaft contribution to spin, distance, trajectory, etc...is underrated . I play the CB's with a Project X 6.0 steel shaft which is a great combination for me.

I had this shaft since 3 years ago, paid $300+tax. I got interested in it by chance and at the time of my fitting at Manchester Lane it was what fitted me the best.
I have a very smooth tempo and needed to elevate the ball flight a bit and the AD-DI 6 Stiff did it for me. SS is around 103-105.
If you want to get a good shaft and this one is the best for your specs then they'll be the best $400 spent on golf.

I have been able to try the Tour AD DI 6S in many different drivers as well as 3 woods and a few hybrids. I currently have the shaft in my SLDR 430 TP driver but plan to buy the 915D3 head and SureFit tip and exchange out the heads because I feel it is such a quality shaft. I highly recommend the shaft if you are really serious about golf. The only other up-charge shaft that I eally liked when being fitted over the summer was the Motre Speeder 757.

I would definetly get fitted before laying out $700 for a driver.

Once I do the official fitting for my new driver, I will be trying one of these as well.
I am actually going to take the time and make sure it is correct. I dont want to keep buying stuff and hoping it will work right.
I am slowly working my way through all my clubs and getting them correctly fitted. And I will say that it is really making a difference.
While yes it is an expensive shaft, I have found that it being fitted properly makes it worth every penny spent.
