    Harry,

Just got back from LV yesterday.  I missed the fitting at Golfsmith in Summerlin.  I too am a senior just turned (60) and decided to focus on getting new clubs earlier this year.  With the Team Titleist bloggers/staff, they convinced me to go for a fitting with a good Titliest fitter.

I went with the AP1s because of where I'm at.  Just getting back into the game, trying for a consistant swing and trying to get decent yardage. I think I'm in good decent shape so I don't tire after 18.  I love my clubs, my wife thinks I love them more than her.

See a fitter, forgiveness is great with either AP1s and 2s.  Kuro Kage and Aerotechs are awesome shafts.  With a limited budget, I was able to get new AP1s, and also used decent 913D2 and a 913h with the shafts the fitter recommended.  Also a new bag.  The clubs are great, forgiveness, feel, accuracy to me can't be beat..

I was able to string 3 Pars and had 2 more chances for birdies (3 putted) while playing just 9 holes 2nd time out with the irons  and first time out with the "woods".  Not bad for only going to the range and limited amount on the course.

I'm convinced, Titleist is the best.  Good luck

    Harry,

Getting fit by a certified fitter will be very helpful in making your decision. I contacted Mike at TPC Summerlin who is an excellent fitter as well as a Titleist staffer. I suggest calling him to schedule a fitting and he will be able to help you make the best choice for your game. You can contact Mike @ 702-256-0222 for more information.

    Thanks

    Will
