I currently own a 915 D2 9.5 drivers set at A1. My swing speed has increase and so has my launch angle and spin. My question is if I lower the loft of the driver will it be less forgiving.

Hi Oliver, If you change the loft on the head, it will not be less forgiving. The head will maintin its same high MOI or forgiveness, whether you move the setting to more loft (D4) or less loft (D1).
Thanks Cathi, if I decrease the loft to the D1 setting will that open up the face? If so would It make sense to put it in a more upright setting like C2 or D2 to accommodate the open face? Or does the surefit hosel adjust accordingly in the D1 setting?

Not sure what your process is now, but you could try lowering your tee height if your launch is too high. Theoretically, a lower hit will tend to fly straighter and have less spin.
Thanks B.A. My tee height is already pretty low and I'm hitting the sweet spot where I want too. I have a positive attack angle but my swing is a little steep and I've been told that's what's causing the high launch high spin. My shaft is the Aldila Rogue silver 60 and my driver is 915 D2 9.5 loft set at A1 I figured the Rogue silver would give me a low enough launch but I should have got fitted for maybe an even lower launching/spinning shaft.
