There have been quite a few over the years. Check this out:

  3. Hi Chris,

A 1 iron was available in most DCI models as well as the 681 Forged Blades from 2001. A complete list of our previous models can be accessed here: www.titleist.com/previous-models
  4. I carried a DCI-B 1-iron for a few years before I went back to my old Wilson Staff 1-iron which was probably half the size, but for some reason I hit it better. The 1-iron was a great club to have if you felt comfortable hitting it. Not the least of its uses was as a "punch-out" club. You could keep it low and really get it to run or curve.

I have a Titleist DCI 1-iron that will make it out for fun occasionally. Everybody always wants to take a swing with it to see how well they can hit it. When you hit it on the sweet spot it is amazing, if you are a little off, not so much! With all of the technology out there with hybrids and the T-MB and 712u clubs, there is not really a need for most golfers to have a 1-iron these days other to bring it out to their regular game occasionally for fun (at least that is the case for this golfer).
