Ap2 712 irons

    Hi, I recently bought a second hand set of ap2 712's and noticed on most of the clubs that the leading edge and satin finish on bottom of club are very worn and bottom of club is has a glossy appearance now instead of new satin look. I'm just wondering is this normal for the 712 ap2's with normal use or did the previously owner alter or damage the clubs in any way ? Anyone with previous experiences, I would appreciate a comment. Thanks

    They are 4 years old, that's a lot of ball hitting to still be new.

    Yes. My question is, is that wear normal after use or could the previous owner have used a dremel on the leading edge ?

    Sounds like they might have been ground down.

    Thanks, have u ever done this yourself or heard of a reason for anyone doing this? Does it affect the club ?
