    Grindelwald,

A friend of mine has a DG S300 AMT shaft on his 3 T-MB iron. As I cannot find anything in the internet about this shaft, I'm wondering if one of you guys can help me. where is the difference to a standard DG S300 shaft, what about the weight, does it performe different?

    Thanks for your help

The AMT shafts are designed to reduce weight as the club gets longer through the set. Utube (dg amt) for a better understanding.
  3. The AMT is for Ascending Mass Technology. The weighting on the shafts changes 3g per length. This allows for lighter long irons shafts for launch and speed and heavier short iron shafts for control. I believe they usually go from 112-130 g. So I would say ideally if you are looking between the two, especially for a long iron the AMT may work out well for you! Hope this helps!
  4. There is a difference basically the AMT is a progressive weight profile vs. the S300 which is the same weight across the shafts.
