I have the AP2's 3-P and 2 Vokeys. I love my wedges 50 and 56. I am thinking of pulling out my AP2 PW and replacing it with a Vokey 46. Having the same thoughts as you, I bet you would be happier with a Vokey. The Vokey head is bigger and I think abit more forgiving.

Depends on what you're comfortable with. Around the green you will probably see more versatility with the Vokey but little difference on full shots. I love my Vokey's and have 4 in the bag. (46, 52, 55, 59) On approach shots and around the green I feel I get more control out of the Vokey. If you have a fitter in your area you might stop by and ask him/her what they think. Tell them what you're wanting to get out of your wedge and they can give you the best advice and let you test out a few clubs so you can get a feel for them. Best of luck!

Love my Vokey's but I have been playing my AP2 Wedge since I purchased my 714's. It's a matter of preference for me...I seem to have more control on longer shots. I do have plenty of Vokey's in the 52-56-58-60 lofts with varying sole grinds and bounce for current course conditions and style of play. I carry 3 Vokey's in the bag most of the time.

I have been faced with the same dilemma albeit with the 714MB PW vs. Vokey 48. I love the feel with both so it is a hard decision...jury is still out (smile).

Depends on shot trying to hit. If full shots I would go ap2. if going for half shots or chips I would go Vokey.

I would say ap2 if you play it a lot from 50+yds, around the green I would go vokey all day. I love my volleys but think the ap2 gives a little more forgiveness. I think each person will have a different preference and comfort ability.

I too love my AP2s. I play Vokey SM6s in 50/54/58 which I also absolutely love. Best wedges ever and I have played Vokeys since 2008. I use standard AP2.716 for PW. I suppose it is possible that a 46* Vokey might give me a little more flexibility for less than full shots, but frankly, I am comfortable with the AP2 PW and trust myself completely with it. So, for me, if it ain't broke, why fix it? Either way you can't go wrong.
