  1. I'm not a fan 3W and not in my plans of having one. May only fairway wood in my bag is a 19deg 910F. A friend of mine handed me his not so old 910H also 19deg loft. I want to utilize both since I'm hitting them fairly well in the range.

I'm considering the following: 1. Adjust my 910F to 18.25 deg then the 910H to 20.5 2. Extend the shaft of 910F 43" 3. Tip an inch from my 910H 4. Keep them both at 19 deg and rely on the roll for the total distance.

    Need you advise.

    Thanks.

I can only add my experience of trying to add loft to the 910H 19*. That was easily my money club that I could swing blindfolded and hit a nice 200 yard shot with a 10 yard draw. I bought a 19* 915F, and tried to bump it to the hybrid to 20.5*. Money no more. As an amateur golfer, I know it's not the arrow, but the change in loft and lie angle changed everything, and after a dozen rounds with the new settings, I ended up selling the club, as I prefer the height and carry I get from the FW.
