    I've seen comments about checking the serial numbers to see if the club is real...

    So where on a Scotty Cameron Pro Platinum Newport putter, is the serial number found?

    The serial number would be located on the back side of the shaft just below the grip.  Follow the link below for good information regarding Scotty Cameron counterfeit putters:

    Serial #s on the shaft came along after the PP line.  There are no serial #s on the PP line.  

     

    Some Mil-Spec pro platinums that were custom ordered did have a serial # on the neck of the putter though.
