Just shows what can happen when you take a couple of years for careful development and not just push something out the door every year like it was a shirt in this year's color.

I play a set as well and love them. Never had irons so easy to elevate and hit straight. When I bought them my plan was to put them aside for eye candy, but, after a range session they went in the bag and my new 718AP1 are sitting aginst the wall.

Yep, I got mine delivered in October but was away so only got to have my first hit just before xmas. Took a few games to get my distances right but have managed more birdies in the past few games than I did all last year.

Together with my new 917 driver I'm managing to be able to hit shorted irons into some of the longer par 4's. Hd 9 pars and a birdie on one round for an 83 and 41 stableford points, my best round at my course. I was off 14.5 that day, I'm now down to 12.5, but I'm away for work again for 3 months.
