I am interested in buying a set of your Titleist AP1 Irons.  I have come across several web sites that are offering your 2010 AP1 Irons sets (3-9P) with steel shafts for hundreds of dollars lower than the listed sale price of around $699.00.  Are these sites authorized to sell official Titleist clubs or are they selling fake knock off versions?  How can I be assured that what I am buying is really Titleist? Do you have a list of companies or websites that are authorized to sell your equipment?  I want to buy your irons, but don't want to be ripped off.

    Hi Ronald,

Here is a link to some more information: http://www.titleist.com/teamtitleist/team-titleist/f/6/t/3316.aspx

We always recommend purchasing from an authorized Titleist retailer and you can use our golf shop locator to find the store located nearest to you: http://www.titleist.com/locator.aspx

    Thanks.

Thanks for the information.  I did an exhaustive search of the web site and found most reviews said it was a scam and the irons did not wear well or perform.  I ordered them from an authorized dealer today.

I look forward to playing with my "real" Titleist AP1 Irons.

If you don't want to be ripped off don't buy the clubs for hundreds of dollars lower than the prices on reputable sites like Edwin Watts, Golfsmith, TGW, etc... If the deal looks too good to be true it probably is... spend the extra dough and get the real deal

  9. Don't by from this site either.... http://www.golfplayerstore.com/Discount-Titleist-AP1-712-Irons-1216.html

Just bought a set of AP1 712 irons from this site. Ile never see that money again. They claim to be from Chicago but are really from China and sell from what i have seen so far all Fake clubs... Thought i was getting a deal on some new clubs till the sticker on the back of the club fell off after two swings haha. Im pretty sure Titleist doesnt put stickers on the back of there clubs, and if they did i guarantee they wouldn't fall off. Really messed up on this purchase. This site has changed there name from DiscountsGolfSupply.com to golfplaerstore.com  since i bought my clubs 2 weeks ago. I will try to keep this forum updated with there new site name as they change it... extremely disappointed. I was really looking forward to owning my first set of Titleist irons. Just got out of College saved up to buy some irons just to get some fakes... Life lesson has been learned... Dont be cheap when buying clubs. Support america and buy from a local shop... Im off to the next forum i can find to let the world know not to be cheap like me... its not worth it.
