I saw that also but it had a welded hosel so I guess it is tour prototype.

That's special model made for Rory.  Closest one available is the 2.6.

Yes im sure he did recive one from Titleist special for him but If you look back to the 2009 Scotty Camron Fastback 1 it is the same putter. its just an older model putter. If you look at alot of Pro players bags even with equpment deals they have special considerations for there putters. Im sure Rory got his putter early but you can buy the same putter its just a 2009 Model

I almost bought this putter but i was told by the shop pro the new one were coming soon so i waited and bought last years.

John L, thanks for the link.  i did take a look.  I have to say that i like Rory's a bit better as the shaft is more centered into the head of the putter, the 2009 has it towards that back of the putter as you look down. I am sure im just being picky.  :)

You may be right as far as the shaft location being slightly more centered but for all purposes its the same putter and you can straight shaft an 09 putter and it will be almost identical. And yes i know it was a Prototype when he got it but like most club manufacturers if there is a good success with a proto type then they will produce a simular one to the public.

Rory uses an "Xperimental Fastback" specifically designed for him. Scotty does this for most tour players.

Rory uses a tour only fastback straight shaft.  It is not quite a center shaft, but it is not offered to the general public. I'm a personal fan and wish it was but.........
