Right now im looking at the Titleist 910F and 910Fd fairway woods. im not sure which one to get. I was wondering if adjusting the 910Fd to a higher loft will make it easier or just as easy as the 910F to get the ball off the turf. also could i adjust the 910F to have a lower loft would it have a more penetrating trajectory with low spin and still be able to hit the ball of the turf with as much ease as its normal loft.

The 910fd model was designed for hitting off the tee. It can be hit off the deck but the 910f is a far better product for hitting of the deck.  If you don't struggle with getting your fairway woods airborn you could play the 910fd off the deck. If I realy wanted a lower ball flight with the3 wood I would get the 13.5 option.

During the fitting process, I was in the same place you are on which one should I go with.  I pulled out my old 3 wood and compared the head size of which was about dead on for the FD.  During the fitting, to me the FD had more feed back and felt solid. I did compare distance on both the F and FD vs previous 3 wood, both were on average 12 yds more carry with  A1 settings.  My final decison was to purchase the FD of which has been wonderful both off the tee and fairway tight lies.
