I am 14 and have a handicap of 10.Im deciding on ap2's or ap1's. I have tried my friends ap2's and i really like them but im not sure if there forgiving enough.I havent tried the ap1's but they seem a bit to chunky for me. My average round is about 80 and when im hitting an iron into the green i do like to spin it a bit to stop it quicker. So which irons should i get ?

You are 14 and your game is only going to improve...go with either the AP2's or CB's.

Based on your current handicap, age, and your preference of the look of the Ap2's I would suggest you get a set of AP2's.  Your only going to get better if you keep working on your game and also will continue to gain clubhead speed and ball spin the next couple seasons as you get stronger.  Go with AP2's.

I think you'll really appreciate the AP2s once they are properly fit for your game.  Finding the right shaft and lie will make a big difference.

    You may also consider a hybrid type of set.  For example...maybe a AP1 3 or 4.  AP2 5-9.  I personally have an AP2 3 iron, then CB 5-7, MB 8,9.  Vokey wedges.

I am a 9 handicap and hit both the AP1's and AP2's and loved the AP2's. I think they are forgiving enough and it's awesome how much you can work the ball. I have only played a couple rounds with them, but really enjoy hitting them. Good luck with your decision.
