So I go get fitted for a 910 driver, the setting is something specific a-1(whatever the settings are named)
Now I just love this driver, so I decide to get a 3 wood, will the setting for the 3 wood be the same as the driver example a-1?

LOL, the famous answer, it depends!!!! I would say it might be similiar but you are better off getting fitted for the three wood as well. I have used that idea before with disastrous results when it came to the shaft alone, so I am sure you could optimize your 3 wood with a good fitting and be a lot better off than a shot in the dark. No (the short answer). I got fit for a different shaft and a different sure fir setting for my 3 wood. I haven't bought it yet, but I plan on it.
Yes, I had a driver with Graf Blue, worked exactly how I wanted, so in an attempt to dethrone my 904f steel shaft, I got 2 fw's same brand, with graf blue, didn't work out. Disastrous would be a good descriptive word for it.
BTW the 904f has been dethroned, 906f2 13* and for winter 906f4 15.5* but I will have to give this one a chance in the summer.
I do miss the feel of a well swung steel shafted fw, kinda feels like it is trying to pull your right arm out of socket right before you whip around into the full finish.
I haven't bought a 910, the question just came from a thought(wondering). Wondering if I got a driver, could I get a fw at the same setting, maybe go to a pro shop and order irons based on my driver setting. Of course this would have to based on someone like me with a perfect swing ;-)
