  1. Hi,I'm going for a club fitting next week at our National fitting Centre in Cambridge England. I have Stiff Graphite shafts in my TP 19s at the moment & so hope to be fitted with vs proto 85s in some MBs. I've always used steel shafts in my Wedges & wondered if anyone uses the vs proto in their Vokeys & what they play like?Cheers

You don't see graphite much b/c of the lack of consistency with graphite shafts. Wedge shafts are pretty particular anyway. Stick with steel.

  3. Hi,

I've got the VS protos right through my AP-1 irons, inc the Vokey 50.08 & 58.08 wedges.  Originally I got steel for the wedges but found that the difference in "feel" dropping to the wedges from irons was quite noticable, so I got them with proto shafts.  I've found them to be excellent and well worth getting.  From the 4 iron through to the 58 the feel of the clubs is now consistent.

    Cheers, Jim
