Yes. The way I think about it is 0-11 is CB/MB, 12-20 is AP2, and 21+ is AP1.

I don't completely agree with you "FuturePro17."  It is tough to make that broad of a generalization. There are dozens of Titleist staff guys on tour with handicaps in the (+) range that play AP2's.  I myself play to a scratch handicap and play AP2's; I also know many very good players who play AP2's.  It is all about which club you feel the most comfortable.  When I was fitted for my AP2's my fitter said that I couldn't go wrong with either the mb's, cb's, or AP2's.  I liked the feel of the AP2's the most so that is what I decided to go with.

I know, it was a broad generalization.  I'm pretty sure that Zach Johnson uses AP2's and an AP1 as a 4 iron.  It is a very general statement, yes.  Some guys on tour use AP2's but others use CB's/MB's. I was merely making a general statement about handicaps of people at my home course and in my city.  Don't get me started on demographics and blah blah...

I am a 9 handicap and I bought the AP1's in the fall. I love them and don't have trouble working the ball if I need to. I really think it is not a matter of handicap, but a matter of what you feel comfortable hitting. A person could be a 20 handicap but hit their irons great, they just might not be able to get off the tee or putt very well.

I would suggest going and hitting all of the clubs and get what suits you the best. Don't go into it thinking that you have to have a certain iron set based on your handicap.

    Hope that helps.
