  1. Aloha,

    I'm ordering a 910h in 19* and 24*, and contemplating shafts...

I use Project X iron shafts now. I really like the weight and tight shot dispersion of steel shafts. I am strong and have an aggressive swing, and steel seems to suit my swing.

I have found Aldila 80g  shafts too light in hybrids in the past - and too "whippy".

So, any reason not to use Project X steel in my hybrids?

And/or will the Project X Tour Issue graphite hybrid shafts "feel" like an iron shaft?

    Thanks!

    Kevin,

The project X hybrid graphite shaft is in the 95 gram range and the Project X steel shaft is in the 120 gram range on average depending on what flex you go with.  So you definitely will feel a difference from the steel project X shaft versus the graphite shaft.  Although, the Project X graphite shaft is roughly 15 grams heavier than the Aldila 80g shaft, which will probably feel better to you.  Hope this helps on your decision making and I would recommend testing the Project X graphite in the 910H to see if you like it.  If not, then may want to consider Project X Steel for more weight.  Best of Luck!
