I was wondering if anyone had any experience with using multiple weights in the TSR3 weight track. I play my driver at 44.5" so I need to add some weight back to the head. Instead of buying a single 12g weight to replace the 8g weight, I bought a separate 4g weight and put both in the track (there must be at least one space between them). I currently have the 8g in T1 and 4g in H1.

I suspect that having a single weight allows you the weight change have a bigger impact. 12g in T2 would put more mass in the toe than 8g in T2 and 4g in N, for example. But I am wondering how 6G in T2 and 6G in H2 might differ from 12g in N. Any guesses?

Cameron Smith used to have a TSi3 driver with two weights in the H2 and T2 setting.

The difference for you is if you have 8g in T1 and 4g in H1 you have it slightly more toe biased. For Titleist that means it moves the CG closer to the toe (by like 1 mm) for people that tend to toe strike it. For every other manufacturer it's the "Fade" setting.

Yes, I know it would be toe bias. When I just had the one weight, I played it is T1. Having the second weight in H1 would make it a little less toe bias. I imagine Cam Smith's setup would have a slightly higher MOI than a single weight in any position.

Have you had the swing weight checked? In a 2 step process you can find what weight would be the correct amount, then add that much lead tape to not change the COG balance. Then you can buy the weight(s) needed if the lead tape bothers you.

Admittedly, I don't notice differences in swing weight. All my drivers are an inch short which I believe should change the swing weight by about 6points. I have driver heads I haven't adjusted the weight on and ones I have. I can't tell the difference in swing weight between the two. The only reason I add weight back to the head is to try to keep the swing weights around standard.
