    I've been looking at a set of titleist Ap1 Irons. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with these clubs and if you think they are good for begineers/high handicappers.

    AP1 is a good lost cost option. The shaft needs to correspond to your skill level/swing speed. Better to get a 712 with the right shaft than a 716 that doesn’t fit your swing.

    I play 718 AP1’s. They are great irons, very forgiving and a solid choice. I was able to get fitted for them before they were phased out. Good luck and I hope they work out for you.
