I'm getting ready to buy a 3 wood and I was wondering if I can get some help picking out one.

I'm not sure which one to pick between the 910F or the 910Fd although I'm a 6 handicap I still struggle with hitting a fairway wood off the deck.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

I just got the 910F a few weeks ago. Love it. I too was having a hard time hitting off the deck because all the 3 woods were lite headed so it was hard to feel where the club was.  Great off the tee but terrible for on the fairway or worse in some rough.  You will love how you will know where the head is and be able to hit great shots.  I hit the F-D but did not get the same feeling.  The F-d would probably be really good but it felt different off the deck.  You will also love playing with the different head positions. I ended up B2. Do choose the right shaft for your swing.  There is also a different feel dependent on your style. I am a 7 handicap.

If there is any question about your ability to hit off the fairway I would go with the F series. I liked both the F and FD series but for different reasons... The FD is slightly bigger with a deeper face for use off of the tee and turf. The F series has a shallower face and lower center of gravity and seemed to be easier to get in the air off the fairway. I went into the demo thinking I wanted the FD but purchased the F with a Ahina 82 X. When you do decide, make sure if you order a upgrade grip you specify which Surefit setting you like so the grip lines up properly. The stock grip doesn't have a logo so it functions 360 degrees. I liked the 3 wood so much I just ordered the 910 D2 and 910 H! Good Luck!

I hit both at a range.  Found the 910F easier off the deck.  I've used it several rounds already, off the tee and the deck.  This is the BEST 3 wood I have ever hit.  I never had much luck with Fairway woods.  This club changed my game.  I left it in the original setting and it's straight.  Most fairway woods I've hooked in the past.  I don't think you can go wrong.

I suggest just the 910F. I like the weight of the 910F, a lot of people complain about it being to heavy but ehh I like the feel. I went from a R7 draw to the 910F and will never play any other fairway wood again. It has good flight and is long.
