I have a new set of the tvd grind wedges and prefer that grind over the traditional vokey sole. the toe and heel relief adds some flexibility and creativity to shots without the extra risk of getting caught up. havent tried them from the sand yet- still snow here in NE

TVD's are vokey wedges. They are a different grind (M) than the stock spin milled wedges. The TVD's are available in the Vokey Wedge Works online store. You have three different finish options, and I believe they are releasing the 200 series with conforming grooves as an option early this month. There are also tons of custom personalization options such as paint fill color, stamping, shaft band, grip, and shaft. The TVD's are more expensive than the off the rack spin milled, but I think that they are worth it.

Which wedge fits your game better is the question.
Go to Vokey.com and research wedges vs your swing style, and the courses you play. I'm sure RC will have some awesome advise.

The TVD is definitely more fun to order and customize than the inline wedge, but your game may not need the design characteristics found in the TVD. Best bet, find an advanced fitter!

Lol you beat me too it. My post that is currently "pending moderation" may have mentioned about utilizing your expertise in this matter.

The TVD wedge is a little bit more of a verstile wedge with the sole grind it has versus the 200 series vokey's. The TVD's enhanced camber allows the clubface to easily open and close. Most players will fit into the 200 series just fine. I usually only recommend the TVD's to accomplished players or low handicappers. I like the TVD wedge mainly for the benefit of when I open the face for a higher shot, the leading edge does not come off the ground as much. Obvoiusly both series of Vokey's are great, just need to find the right one for your game. The main issue finding a good wedge is to get the right kind of bounce you need for your type of swing (digger-more bounce, slider-less bounce) and filling in your distance gaps correctly. Hope this helps.

Soon you will be able to order the 200 series wedges from Wedgeworks. These are going to have traditional wedge style with different loft and bounce options from the retail Spin Milled.
Going through the process and testing the wedges with a fitter is always best. Just because they look awesome doesn't mean they will be the best fit for you.

Liam,
It all depends on your wedge game, swing type and course conditions. Do not buy a TVD just for the personalization options. As RC recommends, it's best to get fit.
And just as a reminder, all of our wedges are Vokeys! The TVD come from Bob's work on tour with the best players in the world.

I didn't see 64 degree wedges in the TVD line (I went to the Wedgeworks page). So are the Spin Milled the stock Vokey wedges and the Wedgeworks the "TVD" wedges?
