Hi im currently playing png anser irons with a dynamic gold high launch shaft .

So my question is if the new Cb's or the 710's are more or less forgiving then my png's . Are the CB's more difficult to hit ?

Not being familiar with the Ping Anser forged irons, I can only tell you the difference in specs.  The 710 CB's are made of a softer carbon steel, are slightly less offset, are more upright and 1/4" longer.  As far as forgiveness, take your Ping to your local Titleist fitter and hit them side by side.   If you would like the name of a local fitter, give us a call at 1-888-TITLEIST and we can find one in your area.

  3. Hey Bob I have the Ansers and the 710 AP2s.....I can tell you they have slightly different feels but when you strike the ball on the sweet spot, they both feel awesome. The Ap2's are really really nice and are the perfect set for someone 15 HDCP and under, trying to get better at their game. Both clubs are players clubs in my opinion but they both have just a touch of forgiveness. The PINGS are way overpriced though and the Titleist series is great value for the money. If you already have the Pings and want a really great set to play, get the AP2's or CB's....they are so nice and you get a high quality product. You cant go wrong and there is nothing like a Titleist or ping fitting process. I have done both and these companies are the two best out there in my opinion. If you compare value, dollar for dollar, Titleist is where its at

    "Serious clubs for serious golfers"

Based on Titleist's long time committment of producing better clubs for better players, one can never go wrong in using it.  With four different iron models they have you can choose which one will fit you the best.  From the easiest to hit AP1 to the MB's that professionals use (which would be harder to hit), and the in between AP2 and CB.  What matters the most is what kind of results you are looking for... would you go for a forgiving club that will help you getaway with poor shots or a performance club that will satisfy you when you hit good shots.

Again, it always boils down to preference.  With the golf market being friendly now, we can try everything out first before buying!
