I just won some AP2s over the weekend and put them in the bag yesterday.  Very nice clubs but I need to get use to the distances that I'm hitting now.  I was using a very nice set of 735.CMs, which I really like, but it seems like the AP2s are much easier to hit for me.  I'll probably be putting the trusty 735s on ebay.

What shafts did you have in the 735's and now in the AP2's?  I play the 735's with DGS300's and was thinking of going with the AP2's with rifle 6.5's (the stiffer shaft will help keep the ball lower).  Did you find the AP2's to create a higher flight?

Congrats bud.  You will really enjoy those sticks.

Give us some specs on the clubs.  shafts? standard?

I ordered my AP2's with KBS Tour shafts.  I flight the ball about the same and have not lost any distance.

I was playing True Temper S300 in the 735s.  The AP2s have the same exact shaft, but my ball flight seems to be a little higher with the AP2s, which is fine with me.  My natural ball flight is low, so I'm okay with how the AP2s are performing so far.   The lie is standard, but I usually play a degree or two flat in the 3-7 irons.  I may head to the fitter and get those adjusted.

I just re-gripped the 735s (6-PW) with new Golf Pride Multicompound grips, but oh well.  I'm not big on the stock grips that come with the AP2s, but I guess I'll use them until they start to wear out and then re-grip with some multicompounds.
