Looking to buy a new pair of golf shoes, just wondering what all you guys wear and like. Looking for a comfortable yet stylish shoe that's not gonna break the bank. Replys are much appreciated!

When it comes to clothes which includes shoes, buy the best that you can afford. For me that means the FJ icon. I love the Icon Professional shoes that are spikeless and you can wear them off the course as well. I custom order the colors I want and they come in any size to fit any foot. They are also the most comfortable shoes that I own.

The FJ DNA's are a great shoe. Very stylish and very comfortable. FJ released the DNA 2.0 so last year's DNA's are offered at a price that won't break the bank. They aren't spikeless like the Icon's Carl mentioned, but I still lean toward spiked shoes here in Michigan.

Can't disagree with Carl T above, the Icons are great shoes. However, the ground at my home course is fairly hard in the summer and I wanted a lighter shoe. After several recommendations I've gone with the Hyperflex. Wore them for the first time on Sunday and they were great, absolutely loved them, so comfortable and light but at the same time very stable. I wouldn't ever stray from Footjoy, IMHO they make the best shoes but if you're after a deal try and pick up a pair of last years' models, no changes to the shoe (I don't think) but different colours and quite a bit cheaper.

For golf shoes, I look no further than the #1ShowInGolf- each week in the tour, they are the choice of the golf professionals and I find that the reason why they have them on are for its style and comfort like you are looking for.

The D.N.A. and the DryJoys Casual are some of the FootJoy golf shoes I put in play along with other/MyJoys Icons.

Check out the FootJoy website @ http://www.footjoy.com/shoes/

You might find the following shoes to be just might be what you are looking for.

    VersaLuxe
    FreeStyle
    D.N.A.
    DryJoys Casual

Good luck to you- happy shopping!

The DNA's are the best in my opinion. But I'm looking forward to a new pair of freestyles.

I have different styles of FootJoys; ICONS, Club Professional, DryJoy Casual, Citys, Sport, MyJoy Contour, GreenJoys, and my shoe of choice are my FJ DryJoy Tours. They make some nice stock shoes and then you have the option of going the MyJoy route of designing your own. If you want a nice looking saddle shoe, that is comfortable, dependable, reasonably priced, I recommend these. I own eight pairs. Out of the box and to the course.

I have to say from all the different shoes I've worn my FJ DNA's are the best. I always walk the coarse and my feet have never been so comfortable.

I have many pair of FJs, but my favorite, being the traditionalist that I am, are my white with white lizard saddle DryJoys Tour. I have 3 pairs of the same shoe and wear these virtually all the time I wear long pants. I have also been using the FJ Sports over the years since they first came out. All my Sports are white with various accent colors. Worn mostly with short pants.

IMO, can't go wrong with either the DNA, Hyperflex or Freestyle. All VERY comfortable and I walk a lot.. I've been very happy with them over the last few years...

I do have a pair of icons but i save those for the special occasions and yes they're very comfortable as well.

As always, try them on first and walk around.. I think FJ is now doing a fitting event so not sure if they'll be one in your area soon. Might be worth checking out.

One more thing. FJ socks are the best socks I have ever worn. I wear a size 13 shoe and most socks that are XL say they will fit a shoe 10-12. After one washing these socks are too small. The FJ socks XL fit sizes 13-15 and maintain their size after numerous washings and dryings.
  15. have these two things in mind, comfort, and waterproof. If you're trying to get the bars bang for your buck that's the best combo.

I own 3 pair of FootJoy shoes. Each have a different fit & feel. I love my FJ Superlites on hot, dry days. My D.N.A.'s are a good all around shoe. Especially on early, wet mornings. I also have a pair of M Project shoes. They are a nice lightweight flexible shoe. You can't go wrong with anything that says FJ!

Multiple FootJoy shoes are great, but DryJoys are the best. Biggest key is fit. If it feels comfortable when trying on then get it.

There's nothing better than FJ for a golf shoe. From the casuals to the icons you can't go wrong. I absolutely love the Icon model, but the DNA is a close second. FJ has a style for everyone, and can even recommend a shoe based on your swing. Check em out!

    Huddersfield,

Ive never been able to find a pair of footjoy that I'm comfortable with unfortunately. I currently have Boost and sketch Pro. When I bought my addas I went to the shop to buy a pair of Icons but the sizes weren't just right for my feet
