  1. So I bought my clubs over ten years ago and have continued to piece mill together since. I currently have the swoosh NDS irons (3-9), Cleveland Wedges (56 and 60 degree), Odyssey two ball putter, and then Wishon driver wood and hybrids. Since I have never changed the grips. What’s your thoughts on keeping my grips or changing them? If change, what kind would you suggest? I’ve seen a lot of Golf Pride and Winn.

If you have had the same grips for 10 years, I would suggest you change them. Most golfers change at least once a season. The pros at least 2-3 times a season. Not sure which grips you should go with but find someone who can give you a lot of information on various brands. Good luck!

both good, you may want to change one of each and try it out before changing them all at once.

When the become slick or worn its time to swap them out.. I use leather gris so its just a matter of keeping them clean!

Golf pride recommends you replacing them once a year. You can never go wrong with golf pride and personally think they look better than winn grips. I love the multi comp hybrid grips from golf pride .

Wow, 10 years. Hard to believe they are not hard, slick and worn. I have been using Golf Pride Tour Wrap grips since they first came out. I would try a grip on one club and see how you like it then change the rest.

I'm partial to the Winn DriTac grips, but I need the extra cushion for an elbow issue.

The grips are easy to change and I'd certainly suggest trying a few out plus talking with your golf shop or retailer.

and getting 10 years out of grips is certainly something. don't be surprised if they are a bit difficult to get off as they might be dry rotted.

I'm eyeing the Golf Pride MCC Plus4 ALIGN grips myself, might look at swapping my driver grip first to see how well I like it and if they do indeed assist in any way at all.

I regrip every year and clean in between rounds. When I received my AP1s in March, I played two rounds with the Titleist grips, and then changed them out to GolfPride Mcc plus 4, in grey with an additional wrap. I believe I’m in more control with these grips.
Also, agree with Steve M above, the pro taking off those grips will need addditional time and effort. The insides fuse to the tape and razor is tuff to get through. You will, however, love the feel of the new grips.
  11. Should definitely replace grips. Just replaced my entire bag with Golf Pride MCC Plus4 midsize grips. Have played 5 rounds with them and they seem to be very good.
  12. You can't go wrong Golf pride grips. Colour and design is your choice the entire range top quality.
  13. Change the 7 iron to try something new, if you like change the rest later. Ask to measure your hand at the shop too. Might like a larger grip.

I like the tour wrap...very tacky and inexpensive with 4 colors to choose from
