I’m looking for a new pair of golf shoes without spikes so I can wear them inside the clubhouse etc. I have found that many options are terrible for traction, especially in wet conditions.

I wanted to hear people’s thoughts on the best options out there, in terms of traction, style and so on. I do tend to lean towards swoosh, Adidas & UnderArmour but any suggestion would be appreciated.

Footjoy pro sl carbon...by far. Expensive but worth it. Most worn spikeless on tour for a reason.

I favor footjoy pro/sl shoes jmo
  4. I do love footjoy and hope I’m not over stepping by mentioning another company, but my wife got me a pair of g/fore spikeless shoes and they are amazing, looking to buy another very soon.
  5. Pro SL is one of the most popular spikeless models on tour. Traditional without being too formal, but definitely a step up from "sneaker"

I don't think you are ever going to replicate the traction of a spiked shoe, but my favourites have been the Footjoy Contour Casual or Footjoy Versaluxe.

Both of those shoes were great shoes. The Footjoy Contour Casual is still in the line and continues to be great seller and performer. The newer lines come in spikeless and spiked and the look awesome. The Footjoy Versaluxe was discontinued a few years ago.

Pro SLs.......lightweight and traction is awesome......own seven pairs.....the tour players make a good living playing in the shoes in all conditions.....I do a lot of fittings with the FJ rep in our area (Charleston/Hilton Head/Myrtle Beach) member/guests and tournaments and the Pro SL is the number one choice when they are one of the selections.......do not think you will be disappointed......and if you want a special color, you can get it thru the MyJoy program........just sayin'
  12. I go between the Flex and the Pro SL.
Pro SL will most likely have more grip in wet conditions but if it’s wet you beat having spikes and so I have the Tour X as well.

But on a comfort level the Flex are unreal. Most comfortable shoe I’ve worn by far and have a lot of grip too!
  13. I like my Footjoy Pro SL although I own a few pair Footjoy Classics from years ago. Not the best for comfort but man, they are classy.

I’ve got several pair of Pro SL spikeless. Comfortable and favorable for walking. Certainly recommend these.

I usually play in the Footjoy Pro SL Carbon, Black and Lime, but I have recently purchased a pair of the swoosh Air Max Spike-less Golf shoes.

I like to try different products and I have to say that the Air Max'es are very comfortable and the quality seems to be very good.

If we are in this participating then it’s safe to say we are loyal to Titleist and play their lineup of products. It isn’t taking from FJ to say other products are good if another Titleist enthusiast is asking. If they were asking which FJ is best and replies come in with other companies then that is another story.
  18. The FootJoy Flex is a great pair of shoes! I picked up a pair this past week and hit balls in them yesterday and played today and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. I grabbed the grey pair with the navy FJ logo. The logo is so small that it lets you match it up with pretty much any outfit.

Pro SL's are great shoes. Waterproof and great traction. Also offer multiple widths.

Am getting a pair of FJ Flex delivered for Father's Day. Can't wait. I hear they are very comfortable and good traction.
