  1. Dear Titleist

When I pick up my Titleist Stadrys carry bag in the handle the legs tucks up nicely but if I put it on the back using the straps, the don’t get all up. This has the effect that I can feel them hitting my butt/legs.

I have tried to tight them up without luck and then again, there is no problem when I uses the handle.

I have asked fellow Titleist friends at the Facebook Team Titleist group if they have experienced the same. Several said the had, but none had solved the issue. Some even switched to another bag brand because of this.

What can I do to help this issue?

    Thank you.

When you said you tried to tighten the with no luck, do you mean you were not able to get the plastic tension piece to slide up the wires or did sliding it up not solve the issue? They are on pretty tight which keeps them from slipping down so you might have to use a block of wood and a hammer to get it moved up. Moving it up about an inch should give you more tension and the legs will pull up more. It might make them pop out slightly less as you set the bag on the ground but not enough to cause a problem.
  3. Same issue on my new Premium Stand Bag. I see others at my club with the legs hanging as they walk. I think it is a design flaw as when your body presses against the bag it triggers the mechanism to pop the legs down.
  4. Same issue with my Hybrid 5 bag. Sliding that plastic tension piece up helps solve this problem; however, it can cause to much tension when standing the bag. This adjustment can cause this clipped piece to pop off its track.

My solution was to adjust the tension clip piece and use the handy mans secret weapon... wrap some black duck tape around the bars, and it works perfectly.

Also I think it gives the bag some Red Green credibility, " If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least they find you handy" ;)

PS. It doesn't matter if it's duck tape or zip ties, fixed is fixed
