  1. I've been a member of Team Titleist for over 3 years now and even though I fill out all of the sweepstakes and surveys, I have never got anything from them. Like all I was looking for is maybe new golf balls to test, but like I just never did, so I was wondering what the most efficient way to get merch sent to you is. I have seen others say that they do nothing and still get them so I was wondering is it all just based on luck or how does it work? (I do participate in conversations.)

Did you join Team Titleist for free swag? Being a member for 3 years, I am sure you have seen many posts on this topic already. Unfortunately it does not work like that. Team Titleist is comprised of thousands and thousands of members, odds are low to begin with to get an opportunity to test or get free merch as you mention.

Asking for stuff is not why we are here or should be here. Participating in conversations with good insight mildly helps but the best way to increase your chances is to attend the TTI or local events (see Events tab). If there are no local events in your area, you can work with Team Titleist to organize one.

It's takes time and patience, be active, attend events and your day may come. If not, enjoy the site for what it is, a place where likeminded people get to together and share their thoughts about the brand and learn about the technology and innovation behind the clubs and balls to make Titleist best in class.

I've been told that you just need to stay active on Team Titleist, comment on posts and so forth. Once I started being more active, I ended up with some new balls to test so I guess it worked

How did that guy win the lotto when I have been getting tickets for years? Well, same here. Many, many, many more members than the few times and amounts of items given out. Most of us guys/gals that have TT stuff get it by attending TT events where we pay an entry fee. We also get items at the TT Store we pay for at the end of the Ball Plant 3 tour. We also buy items that become available during the once or twice a year that TT does a small limited merchandise drop. Ball testing sleeves and things like tags and stickers go randomly but most people will only get items if they spend their own money, regardless of what they might imply in their posts. Sorry if this sounds a bit abrupt but a few of us are getting tired of repeating this so many times. There needs to be a section where all these posts are put with one blanket answer at the top of the thread.

PNanda welcome aboard..there is no fast or magic way to receive test balls or anything free..there are things you can do help your chances, make sure your profile is complete, stay active here and participate...also attend any Team Titleist outing either local or put on by Titleist..I have been a Team Titleist member for about 10 years in that time I have tested balls twice..when I joined it was not for free stuff it was to join a group of golfer who love and use the Titleist product and share our golfing stories and develop friendships along the way..dont get discouraged keep participating.. keep em in the fairways..

I would fill out your profile and be active on the boards. I used to get balls to test every year or two. I haven't received them in a few years now. I think the number of members have grown over the years so everyones chance to get the limited number of test balls or swag is less.

I keep buying Mega-Millions tickets. Don’t need a billion. A million or 2 will do. Still, no satisfaction.

Profile 100% and participating on this and/or the FB forum “gets you noticed”. Once noticed you are in a group of thousands for hundreds of pieces of swag. The more participation the more you are noticed.

The Invitational events come with a goody packet that does provide an offset to the event. Being online frequently will help you prepare for the actual program release. With thousands vying for around 80 slots. these sellout in under an hour.

Balls have a relative small distribution - again hundreds to thousands of followers. And correspond to the upcoming release and the entry on the profile. Tour Soft users won’t be in line in late 2024 for the next Pro-V’s. The TT Invitational events will usually include 1-3 dozen balls. Best option-find a Titleist ball fitting. Generally will get a 2-pack each of the #1 & #2 choices.

Most of the most loyal fans are here for the commentary from other users to enrich our individual games. The swag and free goods are secondary.

I also lurk on other sites. Yet to win a driver or Titleist balls at MyGolf Spy. Just go there for the news and opinions.

Under your profile picture, it says you have 7 posts, so, it appears you are averaging 2.3 posts per year. It helps if you are more active.

As for winning sweepstakes, I am still waiting to win my first Titleist sweepstakes, too. Though, I have received golf balls a couple of times to test. It is fun to get free stuff, but, I find it better to buy stuff I want, versus, getting free stuff, I might want. Good luck!

  9. If you have to ask then you are approaching this the wrong way. I believe if you are a positive member of this community by posting on these threads as well as attend a TT golf outing once or twice a year…..you will be rewarded for your loyalty! IMHO

It doesn’t matter if you are a low handicap or high handicap …. Oh! And yes, please show us your Titleist Clubs and Gear!!

    Cheers, Chris
  10. I totally agree. Being a part of TT isn't about reciving free stuff, but it still is sweet when that package arrives in yor mailbox.

Like everyone has said just be active and when you finally get that package in the mail it will be that much sweeter!
  12. I was recently surprised to hear a fellow golfer, who plays some Titleist clubs, has received products multiple times.

I have over 10K invested in Titleist/footjoy/Scotty products. To date I have not received any free merchandise.

‍♂️, only thing I’m missing is an umbrella….

Umbrellas are available on this site for sale or at any local Titleist account.

Did that fellow golfer attend a TT event? TT members recieve products when they attend a TT event during the year. Am a longtime member and fortunately one of our many TT Ambassadors and that is how we recieve Titleist/Team Titleist products, part of our registeration packages at events, better known as SWAG. Me: 100% Titleist - clubs, bags, luggage, hats/caps, 100% FJ - apparel, outerwear, shoes, gloves, and SC putters. Very loyal to the Acushnet brand. Being active on the site and checking the EVENTS schedule above will afford you the same opportunities as the rest of the community. Additionally, TT items are made available for sale on this site. Participation is to your advantage. Freebees, not what Team Titleist is all about. Fellowship is!

I have recently joined TT after returning to golf this year. Only found out about TT when ordering new clubs to replace my old faithful DTR’s. For me, I am learning from other members and enjoying the content. I agree with Chuck - it’s about fellowship and community.

I've been active and hardly get anything. Just a waiting game I guess.
