  1. Just curious what others use?

I’m keen to see pros bags and they seem to hickory wooden ones from afar (maybe completely wrong!) but despite looking cool seem to be costly!

Check shoulder tilt and hip angles.

I went to Lowes and bought some drive way stakes, markers, they are orange and only cost about $3 each

Did the same. Mine are yellow and fit perfect in the bag. With an alignment stick cover on, they're perfect!

    I have different ones,
I have set that folds up from Titleist.
I have TT ones I carry in my bag
I have Vokey set I use when I am needing multiple sticks on the range for swing path and target alignment.

But I always tell people to go to Lowes, Home Depot or Menard's and get the orange driveway stakes. They stick in the ground easier
for help with hip turns, preventing hip swaying. Helps getting to you left side by placing forward of left hip.

So many things they can be used for.

When I went to my Ht club fitting I was given a set.

I am happy with the Team Titleist ones we received once at an outing. Fiberglass so they will not warp like hickory. I use them for both swing alignment on the range and for short putting practice.

I have hickory ones I got from Iona Stephen last year (On the Road) and Titleist GT ones I got at a fitting. I primarily use the GT ones in combination with a Tour Aim+ device, and it's really been helping.

With respect. Just because the pros carry them and they look cool is not a reason to carry them. You want something that is functional and as stated below, Lowe's and COSTCO can provide you an inexpensive mode. There are a number of great online videos on how to use alignments sticks to improve your game.

  10. Thanks all, sorry if I posed a poor question, I was genuinely interested in what type (make and material) people tended to carry in respect of alignment sticks - I always have 2 in the bag and use them for alignment and a variety of differing uses (eg swing path, rotation, putting etc…) and have basic fibreglass ones (drillstix). Was wondering whether hickory add anything, but as dale says warping is not a good issue to have so maybe steer clear and as others have said the fibreglass seem indestructible to impact, just need to get myself some tt ones now

    Thanks all
