Currently have the a 10 year old Sun Mountain C130S Hybrid bag, and really like it, except the single strap. Looking to move into a new bag. Would like to hear comparison and advantages of the Titleist Hybrid 14.

I'm cart or push cart when I play, but like tthe stand for rannge and practice facility.

    Thank you in advance

Hey Ken. I bought the Hybrid 14 bag this past Spring and love it! Upgrade this year from a 25 year old miz bag. Like you, I also use a push cart. Mine is the Bag Boy Slimfold. It does take a little extra effort from me to place the bag in the upper support arms and center it because of the bag's stand. But that could be because of how compact my push cart is. Once the bag is locked in though, it has never moved on me during a round. I've played over 90 rounds this year with the Hybrid 14 bag and it has held up very well without any issues or concerns of the bag's durability.
Here's what I love about the bag and a couple slight negatives

    • The dual straps are easy to remove and reinstall. The bag feels real balanced whenever I do carry it on my back. Pressure on the shoulders is distributed evenly. The negative is the straps could be padded a little better.
    • TONS of storage! Lots of pockets for pretty much everything I need to carry. The valuables pocket being lined with a soft fabric is a nice touch. Though there is one negative in my opinion. I do feel the largest side pocket could be slightly larger. I wear a size 12.5 shoe and they're not the easiest to fit in there. Now I just keep them in a separate shoe bag.
    • You can't go wrong with having an individual compartment for each club. Plus, I really like how two of the compartments are a little larger. It allows room for my alignment sticks and orange whip without hindering the ability to pull a club out.
    • All the stitching and zippers are solid and heavy duty. Not worried about them coming apart at all.
    • There's a grab handle built into underside of ball pocket near the bottom of the bag. Very handy when lifting it in and out of the back of my SUV.
    • The built in velcro patches are well placed with the ability to hold multiple gloves. I'll use 3 to 4 gloves most rounds and the patches make swaping gloves quick and easy.
    • It's waterproof. I've been caught in some pretty good rain showers and nothing has gotten wet inside any of the pockets.
    • The stand system, though looking a little flimsy, is actually pretty strong.
    • The integrated cart strap sleeve and umbrella storage are really nice features.

The only thing I would change would be the color. I bought the white bag with black lettering and it's a bear to try and keep the bag's polyester material clean. It's not the easiest to wash off any scuffs or marks.

Overall it's been a solid bag that's made to live up to the Titleist name. I'll just get a black one next time.
