  1. Just got a set of 5 resistance bands for Christmas and wondering what kind of exercise would be good for building up a torn rotator cuff injury Thanks all! Glad to be part of this group!

Preface that i'm not a physical therapist and coming from a torn rotator cuff shouldn't be taken lightly.

But if you have healed sufficiently here are a few exercises-

    1. Face pulls: get the band wrapped around something stable, and pull with your elbows out back towards your forehead.

    2. Take the band and wrap it around something about hip height. Keep your elbow tucked and have your arms out 90 degrees. Then while keeping your elbow against your body, move your fist out to your side.

Should be plenty of YouTube videos showing these in action if you need to see a visual. Best of luck

I'd take it easy starting out, with the Light bands. I've been through that, during my college hockey years. Take your time for sure, that's a tough one to properly heal. Being men we're not good at taking it easy and following Dr's orders.
  4. I would consult with a physical therapist on what to do and how to do them. I'm all for it though and hope for a speedy recovery.

I also use resistance bands when im just sitting around or take them with me when I travel. Great investment so i'm on that BANDwagon.

Hope your recovery goes well and scores stay low!
