My team and I were participating in a United Way Tournament in Marcy, NY at Crestwood when we approached our 15th hole, hole #8. It was a 165 yard par 3, downhill with water to the right and a nasty bunker in front of the green. My three teammates failed to hit the green and relied on me to do something. I grabbed my 8 iron and swung. I thought it was deep but my buddies insisted it was good. It landed 2 inches right of the hole, spun left and disappeared. I always said if if I ever got a hole in one I would remain calm. Yea right! I won free tacos for a year and a five day cruise. I felt like I couldn't swing the club for the remaining three holes. I was elated.
