A smoothly struck 8 iron, despite being at my son’s 30th birthday celebrations, the day before! Witnessed by my 3 regular golf buddies, my Pro V1 X landed just short of the green in a breeze. Bouncing onto the green, it bounced again and started the long roll towards the pin, 135 yds away. Breath held it rolled in silence, until hey presto, it vanished! Cue, club thrown in the air to cries of ‘get in!!’. What a Sunday afternoon
