My first ever hole in one!

So glad I bought a box of Titleist Pro V1s before my round. I lined up the shot, I hit the ball sweet with great tempo, the ball bounced just off the fringe and on to the green and then rolled for about six seconds (20/25 feet) until it disappeared into the hole. Me and my buddies questioned our eyesight (was it behind the flag?) I had to run to the hole (my heart beat slowly going into crescendo now) to see for myself. When I saw the ball in the hole I just screamed with delight and everyone on the course (within range) knew of my proud achievement. Wow! Did I really do that? YES I DID BABY!

If I had not had the smooth shiny silkiness of that new ball to counter the friction of the green, I doubt if it would've had the legs to reach the hole. It seemed liked the ball rolled for ages. The ball definitely played it's part so thank you Pro V1.

I should mention that for the last couple of years I said to my girlfriend that If I ever got a hole in one (thinking I NEVER EVER would) I would ask her to marry me. Oops! Guess who's getting married. I couldn't be happier.
