Hi. I first picked up a club at age 11. I am not 56. My friends and I have been lamenting that we've been playing golf for 40+ years with no hole-in-ones. I am no longer part of that club! I got my first hole-in-one on Thursday, April 28. I was playing Chesapeake Hills in Lusby, MD. Hole #2 is a 150-yd par three over a pond. I hit a nice 8-iron, little fade. It was twilight, and the green was in the shadows, so saw the ball land a bit right of the flag but lost it after that. I walked up to the green, didn't see the ball, so (of course) I looked in the hole. Voila! Hole-in-one! The sad part: I was playing by myself, and there was no one in front of me or behind me. Just me. I'm not sure anyone heard my yells of delight. I've been playing Titleist clubs and balls since I was 15, and I love them. I hope this hole-in-one is the first of many to come!
