It was the Annual Canada Day Hole In One Tournament in Lac La Biche, AB. There was approx. 190 golfers that day, the biggest turnout the course has ever had for this tournament. I was the first to hit from our group on hole 13. It was 154 yards to a front pin. Wind was blowing in the face from right to left at approx 20 km/h at roughly 12:30 pm. I was using my LH Titleist T-200 7 iron, Pro V 1. The ball was struck well with a 2 - 3 yard fade heading toward the pin, the ball kept tracking through the apex and on the way down... Then WACK! SLAM DUNK!!! No divet, no hop, straight in the cup! It was my first hole in one and will always be my most memorable!
