I scored my first hole in one 8/2/2024 at Field Ferry Golf Club in Calhoun GA. I was playing with my buddies and just kind of scraping through my round. Got to the 17th hole, a par 3 playing 139 yards. Picturesque hole with a chimney sitting to the left of the green near a pond. I was playing my typical Pro V1x yellow, selected my Titleist T-150 9 iron and hoped I would make a decent swing. I did hit it solid and saw it traveling towards the hole then I lost sight of the ball. All three of my buddies started jumping and screaming it went in. Being somewhat jaded, I said “ I’ll believe it when I see it. Lo and behold, it was in the cup. I’ve been playing golf for nearly 50 years. This was my first; I still don’t think it’s set in yet. I do hope I’ve broken the seal and more will follow. I might just invest in a Titleist fitting to hopefully speed up making my next ace. Proud to be a Titleist player for the last 20+ years.
