Golfing just nine holes with my wife and neighbor couple. We’re on tee box hole 6 Roadrunner course at Quail Creek Country Club in Green Valley,AZ. Waiting for the green to clear (play was at a slower pace than usual). The pin was at the back of the green apparently 158 yards to a slightly elevated green. I was first up and used a 7 iron. The ball was straight at the pin. We could see the flag but not the cup. As we walked up to the green my playing partner yelled back “hey there’s a ball in the hole”. As usual the wives didn’t believe him until they saw it for themselves.
