It was a brutally hot day. Almost cancelled several times but ended up teeing off at 11:10 at Eaglewood Golf Club in Itasca IL August 25th. It was a sunday afternoon, so play time was painfully slow, on hole 3 we decided to let two young kids play through us for a reason we still can not understand since the whole course was backed up. Then comes hole 4, a par 4 337 yards. The hole plays downhill so you cant see the green. We assumed we could tee off and proceeded to do so. Driving down I came over the hill and saw the two young kids screaming, my initial throughts were I hit one of them and instantly got worried. Only to pull up to them cheering! Its in the cup!!! the two kids were the only guys able to witness it, but apparently they were putting out on the green when my ball hit shy of the green 2 ft, proceeded to roll up right into the cup! The cart girl, was the only other witness, she gave me a free snickers, thanks cart girl!
