  1. Today Troon St Meddans Competition JB Stevenson Memorial Final Troon Links LOCHGREEN course Hole No 6 par 3 195 yards 4 Iron Beautiful autumnal morning. Just a puff of breeze Our course runs parallel and adjacent to Royal Troon with stunning views over the Firth of Clyde to Arran A finely struck 4 iron fading onto to flag a wee bit of right to left off the back of the bunker a smooth roll to hole and in. On the tee the hole is partly obscured by heather mound. The 3 ball in front were excitedly waving and cheering celebrating the shot We were initially oblivious and waved back unaware of the outcome When they called out hole in one our celebrations started This hole is extremely difficult with a heather mound in font out of bounds road and burn at back 3 pot bunkers left and right. To achieve a hole in one in my opinion is in top 5 of my golfing career starting in 1964 I’m now 68 still single figure handicap to now achieve my third hole in one Wow I’m on cloud nine I’m a TITLEIST / cally guy my gear TITLEIST CARBON 4 carry bag TITLEIST GT4 driver TITLEIST VOKEY 50 and 56 degree black wedges TITLEIST SCOTTY CAMERON NEWPORT putter TITLEIST AVX YELLOW ball TITLEIST/ FOOTJOY STASOF GLOVE FOOTJOY SOCKS & SHOES cally 3 wood and rescue and Apex 24 irons Thanks for your contribution TITLEIST
