Dear Titleist team,
Very recently I joined a, somewhat, exclusive club - I obtained a hole-in-one...
It was the 9th hole (of 9) at my local course, Dukes Meadows in London, UK, and the wind was particularly strong (left-to-right for sure). With 130 yards to the pin and my 9i in hand, I faded (intentionally, of course) the ball 129 yards forward. With the ball stopped a mere inch away from the cup, and as me and my two friends walked up staring at the ball, excited for my soon-to-be first birdie (or so we thought) it suddenly dropped in the hole. The strong winds had nudged the ball the extra distance and I had achieved the unthinkable.
To celebrate this achievement I bought myself a Titleist cap, the one with the ball marker on it, as a symbol that I could now consider myself a true golfer. In truth, I still haven't had my first birdie, so this hole-in-one remains extra special...
Best Regards,
Alfie
